1. What is DMSO?
DMSO, or Dimethyl Sulfoxide, is a topical anti-inflammatory/pain reliever that is currently the only FDA approved chemical to treat Interstitial Cystitis. Its properties provide for one of the best compounds in the world for penetrating the skin and accessing the bloodstream.
2. Why haven’t I heard about DMSO?
DMSO has been in use since the early 1950’s, both as a treatment for pain and as a preservative for organs during transplant surgery. The biggest proponent of DMSO was Dr. Stanley Jacob, head of the organ transplant program at Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Jacob believed that the capabilities of DMSO were far-reaching. However, because it is classified as an industrial solvent, in addition to its cost-effectiveness and wide availability, it is believed the FDA blacklisted this product due to lack of control and having not performed an adequate amount of testing. There have been no conclusive harmful effects of DMSO recorded.
3. Do I need to buy a vape-pen/batttery for the Pre Workout Vape?
Yes, you’ll need to purchase a vape pen or battery in order to use the Pre Workout Vape. It currently comes as just a cartridge. Make sure your pen/battery matches the thread count of the Hero Complex cartridge. If your vape is not working, it’s usually because the metals aren’t touching and the thread count doesn’t match up.
4. What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are a group of fatty compounds found in hemp but also produced by other plants and the human body. They are the primary chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant. These compounds are key players in normal immune and central nervous system functioning. There are more than 80 identified cannabinoids. A system within the human body called the endocannabinoid system (ECS) has receptors that these compounds fit into, using cannabinoids to support cells and healthy immune system function, despite fluctuations in our external environment. Hemp produces more than 80 different phytocannabinoids naturally. Of the 80+ non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most widely known. Others include Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabichromene (CBC) & more.

Organic compounds that provide aroma and flavor in cannabis and a variety of other organisms, including plants. Terpenes are formed inside cannabis trichomes, and their relative presence is directly affected by both the spectrum and intensity of light exposure.
